42
That’s right; it’s not a
type-o. We had 42 in attendance at our
February meeting. I can’t tell you how
great that makes me feel. Great job
everyone. While I’m on the subject, I
would like to thank all the folks at The Dugout for making our first meeting at
their location a huge success. The food
was great and the atmosphere even better.
Brown County’s Ridge Runners
Romp, our first Region event, will be held next month, May 11th thru
the 13th. Please contact me if you would like to help in any way with this
event. All of us that attended last
year had a great time, especially the kids.
There aren’t very many “Kid Friendly” events in this area, so let’s all
do our part to make this one go over in a big way.
For those of you that don’t
know, Putnam County has started having meetings. Hopefully, by the time you read this, they will be active once
again and have officers in place. A big
“Thank You” goes to all Putnam County folks that attended the meetings and to
our Region Director, David Polanco for his efforts and motivation.
Before I sign off, don’t
forget that Region 6 will be having our Boogie clean up on April 21st
with a rain date of April 28th.
Bring you chain saws, gloves, brush draggin’ clothes, and whatever
beverage you prefer. We need all the help we can get.
Our meeting this month is
April 8th at The Dugout at 5:00 PM EST. Grab anyone you can and let’s see if we can beat 42.
