Region 6

It’s springtime! I hope everyone has looked forward to some good weather, as I have. Although, winter hasn’t been that harsh, it has taken its toll on many of our roads. Just today, I was commenting to my wife how many roads in my immediate area are going to need attention and repairs. Having said that, as motorcyclist, it’s our responsibility to ensure we bring it to the attention of our local officials. Enclosed is a list of numbers I found in the newspaper that will assist in correcting these deficiencies.

For the last few months, Region 6 representatives have been conducting meetings within Putnam County spreading the word of ABATE. I would like to personally thank all that have attended. Additionally, I am very excited and pleased with your dedication and efforts. Keep up the good work, you deserve recognition.

Finally, Region 6 events will be kicking off next month. Many people have dedicated time and effort pulling these events together. Please plan on attending and if desired, assist these individuals in their efforts. Presently, there are committees established and they are diligently moving forward finalizing these events. Flyers have been posted in this month’s Hoosier Motorcyclist.
